If you are getting a full Braid Weave the average person need about six ounces of hair some will need more some will need less. It is best to buy two packs to make sure you have enough. You can always use the leftover hair later. if you are using hair over 18″ long you might need another pack. If you are getting tracks one pack is enough for four to five tracks up to 18″ hair length. If you are getting the hair bonded one pack is enough for four to five tracks up to 18″ hair length. If you are getting fusion or micro linking you need to consult your stylist
4. What is the best way to cut a weft?
Hand tied wefts should never be cut from the top, this is a common mistake made by even experienced hair stylists. If it is cut, then you should seal it with a good glue like nail glue or fabric glue. There is no guarantee that it will not shed if it is cut. Also, one should never sew through top of the weft and it is recommended you sew around the weft. With machine wefts, you can cut where desired. We cannot stress how important this information is, the main reason for wefts shedding is because the weft is not cut properly.
5. How Wide is the Weft in Inches?
The width of the wefts depend on the length of the hair. The longer the length the shorter the width… so if you decide to go with longer hair and want to cover more of your head we would suggest 2 or possibly 3 packs of hair. For example, a 16″ weft is around 9 feet long. Yes, this is 100% virgin human hair which is not processed in any way. So you can color the hair. Once virgin hair is treated in any way, it is no longer virgin. Generally it is advised to make any major color changes after having your extensions applied.
6. Can I go swimming?
You may go in swimming pools and hot tubs. It is best to wash hair right after swimming. Avoid getting hair in salt water as the salt can take all the moisture out of the hair and it will lead to tangling of the hair. Never braid your hair and go in salt water. It is best to wear it down. Add a spray in conditioner after swimming. This hair can last for a very long time depending on how you maintain it. Treat it like your own hair and take good care of it for it to last longer. Many hair extensionists prefer Indian hair because it is beautiful and unprocessed which makes it last longer than any other kind of hair. We advise that you comb your hair every morning. Just bend your head forward and gently brush your hair from the ends towards your scalp. Starting from the ends keeps the pressure off the weft area and is a good way to maintain the longevity of the extensions.
7. Do I have to do anything special at night?
You must NEVER sleep on wet hair. Sleeping on wet hair is known to matte hair which makes it very difficult to keep them the way you want. Just make sure your hair is completely dry before you go to sleep and you shouldnt have anything to worry about.

We try to anticipate questions you might have about our Lace Front Units and other 100% Human Hair products. If you need additional information send email to firstname.lastname@example.org
1. WHAT IS A LACE FRONT?
A material similar in appearance to nylon pantyhose that is very hard to see when it is placed against the skin. The hair is knotted into the lace and appears to grow from the scalp. The front edge of a hairpiece is the most important area. It is the part that is always detected if you wear a bad hairpiece. Only a lace front can be trusted to maintain the illusion of growing hair.
2. WHO CAN WEAR THESE UNITS?
These units are for anyone – women or men, both young and old. Adults, Teens and children. Also perfect for cancer patients, alopecia patients, and anyone going through hair loss due to chemotherapy or premature thinning/balding.
3. DESCRIBE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FRENCH LACE, SWISS LACE AND THIN SKIN?
French lace is more durable than Swiss lace and is very undetectable. Swiss lace is quite fragile but more un-detectable (than French lace). Swiss lace is not recommended for the new lace front wearer. Thin skin is very natural looking but can be very hot. Thin skin is made of a polyurethane material (plastic) and not recommended for warm climate
4. HOW DO I MEASURE MY HEAD?
Please refer to our Measurement Instructions Page.
5. WHAT DO I NEED TO APPLY MY WIG?
You will need an adhesive, either tape or glue, as well as the adhesive remover. These items can be found and purchased through our Glue-Tape Accessories page.
6. WHICH IS BETTER, TAPE OR GLUE?
Everyone has their methods of choice. Generally, it is much easier to use tape and it provides longer hold, however, some clients prefer glue. There is no right or wrong way. It really is an individual choice.
7. CAN I USE HEAT ON MY LACEFRONT WIG, LIKE A BLOW DRYER, FLAT IRON OR CURLING IRON?
You can use very light heat for gentle styling and maintenance. Frequent use of heating utensils is not recommended in order to prevent the drying out of the hair. If you must use a blow dryer, use cool air. For synthetic hair including human hair with synthetic gray, use no heat at all.
8. HOW DO I REMOVE MY LACE HAIRPIECE WITHOUT DAMAGING IT?
We recommend (and sell) an oil remover that is second to none (PURE). Spray or drip it along the hairline and wait for the bond to release before lifting the hairpiece. It will lift in a matter of seconds.
9. HOW DO YOU CARE FOR REMY HAIR?
You must not sleep on it. It is best to braid the hair and tie it up with a satin scarf or use a satin bonnet. Also washing and conditioning the hair keeps it moisturized and damage free. Avoid brushing or combing wet hair as it can get plucked out in the process. Please visit our Glue-Tape Accessories page for the maintenance and care products that recommend. At a minimum, shampoo and condition your unit at leasy once every 2 weeks to maintain it’s beautiful and healthy appearance.
10. WHAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CLEAN THE UNIT?
First, remove all the adhesive from unit. Run lukewarm water in a sink. Add a little shampoo as the water is running. Fill to about half full. Place unit into water submerging it completely. Hold the unit by the front rim and dip the unit in and out. You can do this about four or five times to be sure that all dirt and residue from the styling products are removed. Rinse with lukewarm water and gently squeeze excess water out. Apply a deep protein conditioner (we find Nearly Natural to be most effective). Leave on for about 5-10 minutes, then rinse with warm water making sure to rinse out all of the conditioner. Let air dry or set on a towel under a dome dryer set on low until nearly dry.
11. HOW SHOULD I STORE MY WIG?
First, the best place to store your wig when it is not on your head is on a wig blick or styrofoam head. This will insure that is is not being crushed or flattened in anyway. It will hold a natural head shape and preserve the style best.
12. WHAT ABOUT STYLING AIDS?
Please visit our Glue-Tape Accessories page for the maintenance and care products that we recommend. To protect the base, the best and safest tool you can buy is a vent or cushion brush that has stiff plastic bristles, widely spaced, each with a protective ball on the end.
13. CAN I GET HIGHLIGHTS?
Yes. On the order form you can give us the percentage and color you desire. The highlighted hair will be the same color all the way from base to tip.
14. WHAT IS REMY HAIR?
Remy Hair is human hair that is collected directly from a single hair donor. It is also referred to as Cuticle Hair or Virgin Hair. It is the softest and most natural hair on the market. The majority of human hair sold in the industry is non-cuticle hair. The hair cuticle has been stripped by using an acid-bath. However, with Remy hair, this is not done, so the hair cuticle is intact, therefore the hair is stronger. It also makes the hair softer and more natural and makes it so it does not tangle which allows it to be ideal for longer wear.

YES, the wig is just like your regular hair so you can do all normal activities with it on such as swimming, showering, sweating, etc. No one will ever know that it is not your own natural hair. The only time you do not get it wet is the first 36 hours after applying the adhesive/tape. There are also special water proof adhesives that you can use as well.
16. I HAVE A HEAD FULL OF HAIR – CAN I STILL WEAR THIS WIG?
YES, all you have to do is braid your hair in small flat cornrows either in a beehive or straight back. It’s that simple

No. The best way to cut your unit is while it is on your head. You will need to have your personal hairstylist cut and style it for you.
