Nighttime Routine for Healthy Hair

Until recently, I did not know that hair needed a nighttime routine. Yet, I always wondered why my tresses had stagnated at shoulder length. If you don't know this already, a nighttime routine is necessary because we spend a third of our lives sleeping. Here are a few things you should have in your pre-bedtime hair care routine:

Detangling

If your hair is not in a protective style, you should brush it thoroughly to detangle. The silk-touch paddle brush is ideal for this job. It aids in the distribution of natural oils throughout your hair starting from the root. To keep your hair from tangling up, do some loose braids.

Apply a Hydrating Deep Conditioner

Is your hair damaged? You can revive it with a deep conditioning treatment like the Soaked 'N Silk masque. It is infused with keratin, grape seed, as well as argan oil. Use a little bit of the product; a little does the job just as well. To revitalize and nourish your hair, deep condition once a week.

Sleep in a Satin/Silk Bonnet

A satin or silk bonnet is easy on your hair because of its softness. As you toss around through the night, it will keep your hair intact. Moreover, your hair will retain more moisture.

Avoid Sleeping with Wet Hair

When your hair is damp, it is the most fragile.. For this reason, it should be dry before you hit the sack. If you use heat, a heat protectant like Bye Bye Frizz will minimize damage. Air drying is another alternative if you are keen to avoid the use of heat.

Bottom Line

A nighttime hair routine is essential for healthy hair and scalp. When you keep to a hair care regimen, you will see a change in your hair's health. What other steps do you have in your routine? Please let us know
